I really struggle with this book. I just can't get a connection to the story and the writing style :-(

Leider wird dazu keine Quelle angegeben. Ich glaube es sind deutlich mehr als 80 %. Die Zahl hängt aber stark davon ab, wie ein "bekannter Angriff" definiert wird.

Important topic but the book falls short of unmasking anything. :-(

Well written crime story with a technological background

The book covers an important topic, but it stays very shallow. In the end it's just a long list of things which are hacked.

Especially the "How to Bend them Back" pay off the subtitle is missing.

It is well written but I really struggled with reading it. I think that is because I completely missed the "why". I don't know what the Bruce Schneier tries to accomplish with the book. I don't even know whom it addresses. All in all an insatisfactory read.

Up to now I found it a shallow read. Very wordy. It's nice that Bruce Schneier explicitly addresses the wealth gap and how the wealthy play (or hack) the system.

Just finished reading "How Infrastructure Works". It really touched me.

This might sound like a surprising thing to say about a book about infrastructure. But it speaks to the book itself. And infrastructure touches everybody's life countless times every day.

It's hard to imagine that i will tag a better non-fiction book this year.

As far as i read along an insightful book. Nevertheless I can't say that i enjoy reading the book. I got so angry that i had to pause after 60 pages (because of the topics handled in the book)

I will certainly try again
