Overall this is a reasonably companion piece for someone already deep in Cult of the Lamb. I liked that it was a bit more heartfelt than the game itself is, and the necessary twist of prophecy was nice. I don't know how compelling it would be to someone who isn't already heavily invested in the game, though; I suspect a lot of the appeal depends on your connection with the game.
