As with its predecessor, Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind, Harari recounts the course of history while describing events and the individual human experience, along with ethical issues in relation to his historical survey. Lovely journey to homo sapiens future
I loved Sapiens, but trying to read Homo Deus two years into a pandemic was not a good idea. It’s far too optimistic about our future, and after the last two years, I have trouble sharing that optimism. I couldn’t finish reading it.
